Our daughter Ella is turning 6 in July, but because one of her best friends is always gone in the summer she wanted to have her birthday early. I thought it would be the final push I would need to finish our new studio, you know, set a date that you couldn't change so that all the little things that might take forever wouldn't. We had a really small party, just 6 of her closest friends. She requested a polar bear & unicorn birthday, gotta love originality. Unicorn stuff, easy to find, Polar Bears, not so much. We had our insanely talented long time baby sitter, who might I add is now a high school art teacher, come in and work with the girls on a fun little project which I should have taken more pictures of! The ones I do have have all the girls in them so I won't post but it was cuuuuuute! I wanted to share the party details with you because it was so girly and fun! Enjoy.
Details: The unicorn cake was from the insanely talented A. Elizabeth Cakes, the unicorn and polar bear cookies are from The Whisk, I have been dying over her cookies for years and finally had planned far enough in advance to have some made for the party, they did not disappoint! Adorable and SO good! All the little unicorn balloons and plates etc are from a company called Meri Meri, you have to check them out! So cute and available locally at The Cross.
And I have to thank my amazing friend and photographer Jaime Drake for the images. The good ones are hers, the bad ones are mine ;)
